These terms only apply to our Direct Sales (on this website) and our Wholesale Sales (via Faire), and are in addition to any terms set out by Faire, which generally state the following:
- As a brand we must list the same pricing structure as other retail channels where a product may be for sale, which means we always use the MSRP as established when we published a book. All our product MSRP industry established discount structure, where there’s a 55% discount off the MSRP for books bought from Ingram Book Group, and where Emerentsia Publications will act, whether by agreement or choice, as a wholesale entity, so it will set its wholesale pricing to retailers to 40% off the MSRP. For example, if a book has a MSRP of $20, then the book is purchased from Ingram Book Group for $9 and for $12 at the wholesale cost from us. You must register as a retailer on Faire to receive the 40% discount off the MSRP.
- We allow social sellers but if you’ve registered on Faire with a valid reseller tax ID, and you will need to abide to the Faire standard terms of service. Like Faire, we do not permit you to sell on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, Cratejoy, Tiktok, or other third-party marketplaces. We also don’t permit the practice of multi-level marketing companies.
- We support the independent book store and other independent companies so we encourage readers to purchase our products as much as possible from such companies. If you’re a reader and cannot afford the cost of a book purchase, don’t embarrass yourself by asking for a free product. If you want to read our books, you can ask your local public library to order the book in for you, then borrow it, then return it to benefit other patrons. We earn from this too. Amazon KU is not a library, so don’t do the stupid thing of getting a book and returning it after reading as it impacts the author’s business.
- We list ebooks as a direct sale option to facilitate readers of this website, and on other associated websites we control as a courtesy to readers. Once a purchase is fulfilled, you can collect the ebook at BookFunnel (a reader account will be needed with a valid email address). No refunds can be given once a book has been added to your BookFunnl library, unless there is a serious technical error that we’re notified about by BookFunnel.
